NAVAL Gas ball valves
PN40 4 PN25 PN16 MPa 3 2 1 Pressure/temperature curves (Do not use for steam) NAVAL GAS BALL VALVES Naval Gas ball valves are designed for shut-off applications in natural gas pipelines. All valves fulfil the requirements of European Pressure directive (97/23/EY) and are manufactured to category lll.(module H). Naval Oy has a certified quality system ISO 9001 and certified environmental management system ISO 14001. Naval gas valves can upon request be manufactured in accordance with the EU ATEX-directives (94/9/EC), equipment group ll. The ATEX-requirement shall always be mentioned in the inquiry and order. DESIGN: CHARACTERISTICS: The valve has all-welded body and is fitted with carbonreinforced Teflon seals which are long-lasting against frequent operation, impurities and chemicals. A ground and polished stainless steel ball gives easy turning and reliable operation over many years. A floating ball construction is used. Bevel spring washers keep the seals pressed against the ball to ensure that the valve remains leak- tight regardless of pressure fluctuations. The blow-out proof stem is sealed with 2 O-rings. In smaller valves, the upper one can be changed and in sizes 65 to 150 both can be changed. The Teflon thrust washer between the stem shoulder and stem housing also acts as a seal. Stem housings of DN65 valves and above are fitted with stainless steel bearings. -40°C 0 +50 +100 +150 +200 For temperatures below -20°C, please mention separately when ordering. 11 4 9 10 The valve needs no servicing - no adjustment or lubrication and is easy to install, long working life with low running costs. It is easy to insulate because of the long, circular stem housing. The operating lever is detachable and can be re-positioned at 180 ° Heavy and unreliable cast components are not used in the construction of the valve body. It is easy to retrofit actuating equipment. 8 12 6 7 5 3 2 1 13 MATERIALSPECIFICATION ITEM DESCRIPTION MATERIAL 1. Body Carbon steel P235GH 2. Stem Housing Carbon steel P335NH 3. Navaltrim stainless steel control valve
NAVAL Navaltrim stainless steel control valve
PN40 4 PN25 PN16 CONSTRUCTION: MPa 3 2 1 NAVALTRIM CONTROL VALVE NAVALTRIM control valves are designed for control of liquid flows in heating, and cooling systems. They are also suitable for various process industry applications. NAVALTRIM control valves can also be used as shut-off valves. NAVALTRIM is a patented control valve, where two cross linked specially designed trim plates decrease the turbulence of the flow, improve the measuring accuracy and practically eliminate the cavitation and noise. This construction is used in sizes from DN40 up to DN300. The valve has an all-welded body and it is fitted with reinforced teflon seals which are durable even if the valve is frequently operated, and are resistant to impurities and chemicals. The polished stainless steel ball is easy to turn and is designed to provide many years of reliable service. The blow-out proof stem is sealed with 2 O-rings. In smaller sizes the upper one can be changed and in sizes DN65-150 both can be changed. The valve is equipped with fittings for measuring of pressure difference. Naval ball valves are manufactured in accordance with European Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EY. Naval Oy applies Module H as conformity assessment procedure (=full quality assurance) controlled by Det Norske Veritas as notified body.Naval Oy has a certified quality system ISO 9001 and certified environmental management system ISO 14001. 16 Pressure/temperature curves (do not use for steam) 1 14 13 -40 °C 0 +50 +100 +150 +200 2 10 8 7 6 5 3 For temperatures below -20°C, please mention separately when ordering. CHARACTERISTICS: The unique Navaltrim construction provides a broad linear and exact control range. The flow resistance is very low in fully open position and the control plates inside the ball allow exact flow control without disturbing turbulence or cavitation. Thefore the information obtained from the measuring outlet is reliable. The valve needs no servicing nor lubrication and is easy to install. These features combined guarantee a long and reliable life time with low running costs. The long and circular stem housing makes the valve easy to insulate. The operating lever can be dismantled, turned 180° and reinstalled to a new position. 12 11 9 4 MATERIAL SPECIFICATION POS DESCRIPTION MATERIAL 15 1. Body Carbon steel 1.4404 2. NAVAL VALVES FOR STEAM Navalsteam is designed for on-off service. The valves are specially suitable for steam, condensate, hot oil, gas and other non- corrosive media. CONSTRUCTION The valve has an all- welded body and is fitted with special polymer seats which are long-lasting against frequent operation, impurities and chemicals. A ground and polished stainless steel ball gives easy turning and reliable operation over many years. A floating ball construction is used. Bevel spring washers keep the seats pressed against the ball to ensure that the valve remains leak-tight regardless of pressure fluctuations. The blow-out proof stem is equipped with graphite box sealing. Naval ball valves are manufactured in accordance with European Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EY. Naval Oy applies Module H as conformity assessment procedure (=full quality assurance) controlled by Det Norske Veritas as notified body. Naval Oy has a certified quality ISO 9001 and certified environmental management system ISO 14001. Pressure/temperature curves Material specification For temperatures below -20°C, please mention separately when ordering. CHARACTERISTICS The valve needs no servicing - no adjustment or lubrication- and is easy to install, giving a long working life with low running costs. It is easy to insulate because of the long, circular stem housing. The operating lever is detachable and can be re-positioned at 180°. PN40 PN25 PN16 MPa 4 3 2 1 NAVAL STEEL BALL VALVES Naval ball valves are suitable for District Heating (CHP) installations, Heat Transfer piping, oil lines and oxygen-free water lines. CONSTRUCTION The valve has an all-welded body and is fitted with carbon-reinforced Teflon seals which are long-lasting against frequent operation, impurities and chemicals. In smaller valves, the upper one can be changed and in sizes 65 to 300mm both can be changed. The Teflon thrust washer between the stem shoulder and stem housing also acts as a seal. Stem housings of 65mm valves and above are fitted with stainless steel bearings. Naval ball valves are manufactured in accordance with European Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EY. Naval Oy 11 applies Module H as conformity assessment procedure (=full quality 4 assurance) controlled by Det Norske Veritas as notified body. Naval Oy has 9 a certified quality system ISO 9001 and certified environmental management 10 system ISO 14001. Pressure/temperature curves (Do not use for steam) -40°C 0 +50 +100 +150 +200 For temperatures below -20°C, please mention separately when ordering. 8 6 7 5 3 CHARACTERISTICS The valve needs no servicing - no adjustment or lubrication - and is easy to install, giving a long working life with low running costs. It is easy to insulate because of the long, circular stem housing. The operating lever is detachable and can be re-positioned at 180 ° . Heavy and unreliable cast components are not used in the construction of the valve body. It is easy to retrofit actuating equipment. 2 1 MATERIALSPECIFICATION ITEM DESCRIPTION MATERIAL DN600 1. Navaltrim control valve
NAVAL Navaltrim control valve
PN40 4 PN25 PN16 CONSTRUCTION: NAVALTRIM is a patented control valve, where two cross linked specially designed trim plates decrease the turbulence of the flow, improve the measuring accuracy and practically eliminate the cavitation and noise. MPa 3 2 1 Pressure/temperature curves (do not use for steam) NAVALTRIM CONTROL VALVE NAVALTRIM control valves are designed for control of liquid flows in heating, cooling and airconditioning systems. NAVALTRIM control valves can also be used as shut-off valves. -40°C 0 +50 +100 +150 +200 For temperatures below -20°C, please mention separately when ordering. MATERIAL SPECIFICATION POS DESCRIPTION MATERIAL 1. Body Carbon steel P235GH 2.
